Logos

Being a ‘bottom up’ processor instead of a ‘top down’ one means that I see the details before the bigger concept. I often see things where others do not.

Here are some of my favourite logos and why I like them.

  1. FedEx

Can you see the arrow?
No?
… Look at the negative space between the second ‘E’ and ‘X’.

2. Ryanair

It’s a palindrome! It spells the same word from left-to-right and right-to-left.

3. Toyota

You can spell TOYOTA from the logo itself.

4. Toblerone

This one’s my favourite. What do you see in the gold mountain? It’s a bear!

5. Coca-Cola

I love this logo simply for its typography. Beautiful.

6. Carrefour

It’s not just two arrows, the negative space shows a ‘C’ between them.

7. Mitsubishi

Something very satisfying about this one.

8. Amazon

Everything from A to Z.

9. Olympic Rings
